A reed sensor is connectedto RE0 pin and used a 10K pull up, reed sensor switch ground to this pin when it is activated. When i was testing last day everything was working. When i test it today the reed sensor switching is not detecting. Then i checked IO pin status. The IO pin RE0 is showing that, it is internally short with ground. I changed the microcontroller and tested again, the circuit is working properly. In the evening i tested again, it is not working, the same failure happened again. RE0 is short to ground. What could be the reason? Please help me.
